Any regular knight would've been scared at the sight of that creature but Barristan Selmy never feared her and instead forced the girl to retreat. This is how Selmy is in a different league than Jorah not just in terms of swordsmanship. Jorah has been in Essos for years he knows the danger there yet he almost failed to protect the Queen while Selmy was only there few months maybe and his intuition was strong enough that the seemingly innocent girl is not so innocent after all and was there to attack the Queen.

I feel like people still don’t get that this was one of the most brutal ways to die in this show. Trapped in total darkness no light at all your eyes would never adjust because there would be nothing to adjust to not to mention the thirst and hunger before death claims them it would take 3 or 4 days for them to die unless they drank their own piss then they could maybe last a week. Also no ventilation. I think some air would get in but they would be gasping and struggling to breathe.

Bronn's dagger seems shaped after a kukri, suited for a quick slice. He was going for the neck right off the bat.

I always found it funny how barristan just stops an assassination from literal sorcerers and doesnt even think anything strange about it, isn't magic seen as myth in westeros? I doubt hes ever been to qarth, so shouldnt he be a bit more surprised by what magical strangeness just happened?

It's too bad they didn't allow her turn to madness unfold more, a combo of time constraints and predictable trope laden writing by the hacks who finished and diminished this once excellent show.
